David Haber VIRGINIA BEACH - David Haber, 46, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, after a long illness. David and wife Denise owned and operated the Mirror Gallery. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. He was predeceased by his mother, Mathilde. David was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No. 2268. David was a Harley enthusiast. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 15 years, Denise Haber; son, Daniel Haber, daughter, Amanda Haber, both of Virginia Beach; grandson, Luke Haber; stepfather, Gerald Noznisky; brother, Jackie Haber; and sister, Anita. A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church, 4832 Haygood Road, Virginia Beach. Pastor Bubba Pugh will officiate. A reception will follow after the service at the church. Motorcycle enthusiasts are asked to gather at the family home at 3 p.m. to process to the church with the family and David. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions either be made to the family to be placed in trust for David's daughter Amanda or to Duke Cancer Patient Support Program.
