Pamela Dianne Kelly VIRGINIA BEACH - Pamela Dianne Kelly went home to be with her heavenly Father, Friday, July 30, 2010. A native of Norfolk, Pam was born Sept. 25, 1952 to Gloria D. Capps and the late James W. Capps. Pamela was a former member of First Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk. A beautiful woman, Pam strongly believed in hard work, self reliance and education. She graduated from Bayside High School and received a B.S. degree from Norfolk State University. Pam retired from Verizon in 2003 after 28 years of service. She began working for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in 2007 as a communications supervisor. An entrepreneur, she was the former owner of Dianne's Beauty Supply, Chesapeake. She is survived by her husband, Louis F. Kelly Jr.; her mother, Gloria D. Capps; her wonderful children, Louis III and Krystal; two sisters, Debbie and Michelle; three brothers, Ricky, Tony and James Jr.; a close cousin who was like a sister, Shelly; a host of other relatives and friends. Her spirit will forever live in our hearts. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Ave. Chapel. Entombment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
