Lily May Ludwig Jarvis CHARLOTTE - On Jan. 21, 2011, Lily Ludwig Jarvis joined her husband, Charles W. Jarvis, on the back nine, where they will resume their love of the game and their love for each other. They will be reunited in Arlington National Cemetery. This was her 85th year. She was the eldest child of the late Orlando Ludwig and Sadie Peters Ludwig. Mrs. Jarvis was also preceded in death by brothers, John and Bob Ludwig; sister, Dorothy Ludwig Fellhauer; and sisters-in-law, Rita Ludwig and Beverly Ludwig. Left behind to cherish her memory are her two children, daughter, Mary Lou Broerman and son, Charlie Jarvis; son-in-law, Al Broerman; four grandchildren, Kaaren Schultz, Jeffery McMullen, Charles W. Jarvis III and Christopher Jarvis; seven great-grandchildren Benjamin Sean Schultz, Zachary McMullen, Mackenzie McMullen, Jake Jarvis, Elwood Jarvis, Jared Jarvis and Christina Jarvis; brother, Bill Ludwig; sisters, Mary Stites, Laura Favre and Peggy Plog Christensen; their husbands, Dan Stites, Jake Favre and Norman Plog; brother-in-law, Herb Fellhauer; nieces and nephews and their families; and many friends. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring in Alhambra, Ill. Family and friends are invited to join us in Arlington when the cherry trees are in full bloom to welcome her home! We will miss her so very much, but have so many wonderful memories to sustain us until we meet again! Memorials may be made to The in the hopes that someday a cure may be found.
