Wilfred Joseph Decoux
Norfolk - Wilfred Joseph Decoux, 91, of Elmore Place passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
Born in Youngsville, LA, he was a retired Chief from the U.S. Navy and was a World War II veteran. He was a member Plank Owner of U.S.S. Albermarle. He was a member of Eagle Haven Golf Club and had a hole in one, Knights of Columbus Council# 3548 and Fleet Reserve Association Branch 60.
Wilred is survived by his wife, Regina L. Decoux; two daughters, Patricia Lowe and husband Roger and Catherine Bush and husband James; two sons, William Decoux and wife Christine and Michael Decoux; brother, Elix Decoux; sister, Lilliemae Viator ; sister-in-law, Margaret Shield and numerous other family members.
The family would like to thank the staff of Home Instead especially Eula and Anita for their care.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, on Friday, December 14, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ The King Catholic Church by Msgr.
