Lila Willis Obituary
Chesapeake - Lila Louise Willis, 79, of the 100 block of Whitehurst Rd., passed away on December 15, 2012.
Born in Hatteras, NC, to the late William and Louisa Peele, Lila is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Lionel L. Willis, Sr., a daughter, Shelley D. Combs and husband Eugene, two sons, Lionel L. Willis Jr. and wife Nora, and Michael W. Willis and wife Patty Ann, five grandchildren, Eugene Comb II, Brian Combs, Lila Ambrose, Dustin Combs and Brigette Brown, five great grandchildren, Jadon, Tyler, Seth, Riley and Savannah, and beloved dog Poopsie. She was predeceased by several siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel where the family will receive friends the hour prior. Deacon Al Carver will be officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Grandma, I can't even believe you are gone. I love you so much. As I cooked dinner last night I had a question and picked up the phone to call you. You were the best wife, mother, GRANDmother and GREAT GRANDMOTHER any one could ask for. I am proud to be your name sake. My boys were blessed to know you and love you very much!
