Sarah Dugas
Virginia Beach - Sarah Elizabeth Dugas, 18, passed away March 16, 2013. She is the daughter of Marc J. Dugas, Sr. and Robynne E. Dugas. A qualified sophomore in her freshman year at Virginia Tech she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.
Besides her parents she is survived by her siblings, Caroline V. Dugas and Marc J. Dugas, Jr.; paternal grandfather Alfred Dugas and paternal grandmother Carol M. Dugas; uncles, Charles Lewis, Jr. and his wife Donna, Christopher Dugas, Paul Dugas and his wife, Peggy, Jonathan Dugas and his wife, Luisa, Colin Dugas and his partner, Jayme, aunts, Traci Jackson, Kathy Thomas, Alison Cougill and her husband, John and twelve nieces and nephews. Sarah will be dearly missed by all her friends and those who received the blessing of meeting her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Virginia Lewis.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 1pm at Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1404 Pacific Ave., Virginia Beach. A celebration of Sarah's life will be held on Thursday at Spring Branch Community Church, 1500 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach from 5-7 p.m. Due to Lenten season flowers will not be allowed in the church, the family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sarah Elizabeth Dugas Memorial Fund, c/o Fulton Bank, 1616 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
