Howard Macer Obituary
Virginia Beach - 64, passed away July 11, 2013. He was born Nov. 19, 1948 in Portsmouth, VA. He was predeceased by his father, Howard K. Macer, Sr. and a sister, Janice Luck.
Howard was a graduate of Union Kempsville High School and retired from the City of Norfolk, Waste Mgmt. Division. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Macer; four daughters, Philena Macer-Hill, Marie Macer, Miriam Mitchell and Casey Macer; two sons, Kelly Skinner and Howard Macer III; three stepchildren, Shikena, Faith and Sterling; his mother, Vivian Macer; one sister, Gloria Hunter; proud uncle of nephew, Justin Hunter drafted by the Tennessee Titans; two best friends, Carl Moye and Cylester Shaw; and a host of other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and the Seatack Community.
A funeral will be 11 a.m., Tues., St. Stephens COGIC, 189 E. Birdneck Rd. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Mon., Beach Funeral Services. www.beachfuneralservices.com
