I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I am honored to have known him and to have had him on my staff in Hawaii. He was a great patriot, a consumate professional, and someone who was always ready to help. The Navy and the ordnance community are better today due to his outstanding professionalism. He will be missed.

Tom was a class act through and through, he was a professional who I had the privilege of working with when we were onboard ENTERPRISE together bringing her out of a Complex Overhaul/Refueling (circa 92-95), during the lead up to getting out of the yard Tom and I worked together while he had his weapons elevators worked on and I was getting the crews galley eating spaces up to speed. Although Tom was only a JG at the time his experience and counsel coupled with his sense of humor assisted me greatly during that tour.

Tom and I crossed paths again at MSC. During the time of the MSC Ordnance issue, which led to the creation of N47, even though Tom had moved on to Hawaii, he continued to be a sounding board/consultant on MSC's plan of action. I could always count of Tom to provide valuable feedback and he always did.

Tom will certainly be missed by all of those who had the privilege of working with him over the years.

God Bless you Tom.

Mrs Clevenger & Family,
I was a co-worker of Tom's when he came to MSC. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever known. I will cherish the memories I have of working and traveling with Tom, for the rest of my life. Please know that our thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with you and your family. No words I could possibly say could ease your suffering, but I hope you find strength in the presence of Christ and comfort in His Love. If there is anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to call.
God Bless you and your family,
Gary, April, Caleb & Jacob Brinson
