Ardelia Roggenkamp Moore, 98, of Mount Washington, died on Friday, June 21, 2013.
She was the former Ardelia Miller, a graduate of Louisville Girls High School, a former volunteer for Baptist Hospital and the American Red Cross, a member of the Mount Washington Senior Citizens and the First Baptist Church of Mount Washington.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry F. Roggenkamp and Marvin Moore; parents, Albert Jacob and Dora Cundiff Miller; a son, Harry Roggenkamp; and siblings, Ernest Miller and Edith Clark Chism.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Kenneth) Roggenkamp Hale; a daughter-in-law, Jean A. Roggenkamp; a brother, A.J. Miller Jr.; sister-in-law, Clara R. Hermanson; five grandchildren, Gloria McCawley-Mudd, Barbara Biven, David Roggenkamp, Clark (Amanda) Hale and Bailey Hale; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, at First Baptist Church in Mount Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
The family suggests memorial gifts go to Hosparus of Louisville or her church. The family thanks Cheri Williams and staff at Hosparus and her team of caregivers.
