Linda Lou Dishon, 70, of Shepherdsville, died on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Jewish South.
She was a member of Raymond Road Church of God, was a Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Red Crow Indian Council and an organizer of the organization's annual Pow Wow in SHepherdsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Dorothy McCubbins; and siblings, Judy Smith, Nancy Dezurne and Alma Scott.
She is survived by her children, Edward (Cathy) Dishon, Barry Dishon, Roger (Cindy) Dishon, Amy Blair, all of Shepherdsville, and Ronnie (Sarah) Dishon of Louisville; her siblings, James McCubbins of Shepherdsville and Jack McCubbins of Marion County; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with the Rev. Bruce Webb officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday.
