Carmel Lee Keith, 80, of Corydon, Ind., formerly of New Haven, died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2102 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmel William Keith and Hazel Phillips Keith; and a grandson, Chase Remington Keith.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosalie F. Frae Keith; three sons, Carmel Lee (Beverly) Keith II of New Haven, James (Sherry) Keith of Elizabethtown and Danny (Brenda) Keith of Boston; three daughters, Carmella Keith of Jasper, Ind., Rita (Mike) Foster of Elizabethtown and Kerrie (Albert) Parr of New Haven; two brothers, Nate (Ruthie) Keith of Concordia and Calvin Keith of Wolf Creek; two sisters, Betty (Julian) Ory of Wolf Creek and Ida Mae (Ron) Singleton of Paynesville; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Lakeshore Worship Center in Elizabethtown with burial in Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
