Charles Edward Bland, 72, of Taylorsville, died on Monday, July 9, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Jane Hughes Bland.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Judd Bland of Bloomfield; son, William Michael (Tracy) Bland of Shepherdsville; daughter, Shady ( William) Ballard of Louisville; a stepson, Joseph J. Ballard of Illinois; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Hall-Taylor Funeral Home in Taylorsville was in charge of arrangements.
