Clifford Lee Figg, 81, of Tulare, Calif., died on April 25, 2013.

he served 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and fought in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was also a country music entertainer. After his military retirement, he opened two "Charlie Pizza" restaurants in Radcliff and Hodgenville. Later, he opened two more restaurants in Oceanside and Atascadero, Calif.
In the latter part of his life, he worked in sales for food corporations. He was baptized in the RDLS Church and was a member of the VFW, Moose and Eagles. And his ancestory goes far back with many generations in Kentucky. Many Figgs and Graham cousins are still in the area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll Ovid and Minnie Jane (Graham) Figg of Lebanon Junction; and a sister, Joyce Figg Gibson Carr of Rineyville.
He is survived by his son, David (Eileen) Figg of Atascecadero; daughters, Debbie Figg Soto of Atascadero, and Patricia Figg of Louisville; former wife of 26 years, Darlene Wilms Roberts of Atascadero; grandchildren, William, Joseph, Matthew Figg, Jasmine and Tara Soto, Dale, Darrell and Dustin Figg; sister, Wanda (Harold) Figg Carter of Glendale; brother, Bill (Elizabeth) Figg of Lebanon Junction; nephews and nieces, Phillip Figg, Missie Gibson Wade, Melanie Carter McFarlan and Autum Haycraft Williams.
A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 22, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with burial in Lebanon Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Saturday.
