Donald H. Koons, 74, of Fairdale, died on Saturday, July 7, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Naomi Koons Toms; and a brother, Floyd Koons.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn "Sue" Shipley Koons; daughters, Andrea (John) Colbert, Aimee (Ron) Heck and Leann (Todd) England; sister, Ella Marie Frank; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were at Noon on Monday, July 9, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
