Edna Marie Rixman, 88, of LaGrange, died on Monday, March 4, 2013.
She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and a retired surgery technician for Baptist Hospital and Baptist Hospital East.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella May Middleton Lawson; husband, George N. Rixman; sisters, Margaret Hackett and Libby Voelkes; brother, Buck Lawson.
She is survived by her daughters, Edna (Hugh) Campbell, Margaret (James) West, Ella (James) Brunner and Jo Ann (Robert) Williams; son, George (Karen) Rixman Jr.; sisters, Alice Callahan and Mary Meyer; brothers, Freddie (Lavern), Johnny (Betty) and Albert Voelker; grandchildren, Hugh (Kimberly) Campbell II, Tonya (Brian) Campbell, Troy (Samantha) Campbell, Alice (Bill) Whitney, Chris (Lena) Skaggs, Pamela (Richard) Vincent, Brenda Bowman, Sharon Perkins, James (Mary) Brunner Jr, Mark (Tanya) Brunner, Angela (Sam) Mosly, Barbara (John) Huff, Thomas Rixman, David Rixman and Matthew Shofner; 35 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, at Little Flock Baptist Church with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington. Visitation will be from Noon until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Shoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. There will be a family video on www.subfuneralhome.com
