Elmira Elizabeth Hagen McMillin, 84, returned to the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2018, at her home.
She retired from Woolworth after 35 years of service and was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Elmira was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McMillin; her parents, Wertie and Evie Hagan; siblings, Kenneth Hagan, David Hagan and Linda Ford; and her son-in-law, Kenny Ashby.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Judy Ashby, Jim (Joan) McMillin and Vicki (Freddy) Lyvers; siblings, Sue (Bill) Vititoe and Kay Fletcher; grandchildren, Kerry (Brooke) Ashby, Jason Ashby, Joyce Curtsinger, Kevin (Stephanie) Borland and Derrick (Katie) Lyvers; great-grandchildren, Shelby (A.J.) Davis, Jake Borland, Joe Coulter, Jesse Curtsinger, Turner, Tate, Titus, Genesis, Shawn and Jude Ashby; a great-great-grandson, Colton Davis and one soon to be born; along with numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 6, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington. Visitation after Noon on Friday.
