Floyd 'Tommy' Sanders, 78, of Mount Washington, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, at his home.
He was a retired employee of General Electric and the Peddler's Mall and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Sanders; parents, Guy and Dorothy Trent Sanders; and brothers, Bobby, William and Pete Sanders.
He is survived by three children, Gary (Lisa) Sanders, Anita (Charles) Freeman and Monica (Kenny) Winters; former son-in-law, David Nethery; four sisters, Corine Fawbush, Lou Lewis, Brenda Sink and Debbie Wedding; three brothers, Jack, Larry and Kenny Sanders; along with 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 5, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial to follow in Mount Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. on Monday.
