Hazel Ann Schadt, 87, of Schnitzelburg, died on Sunday, July 15, 2012.
She was the former Hazel Bauer and a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. She was a member of the MUSCL Senior Wellness Center at Schnitzelburg and was selected the 2007 Schnitzelburg Citizen of the Year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Schadt Sr.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise (David) Burks, Mary Sue Zipper, Cindy (Mike) Huhn, Paula (Michael) Rondinelli and Janet (Tim) Gonterman; sons, Thomas E. (Bonnie) Schadt Jr., Michael (Debbie) Schadt, David (Judy) Schadt and Daniel (Marguerite) Schadt; a sister, Margaret Baird; brothers, Charles and George Bauer; 22 grandchildren: and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Bosse Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies at Kosair Charities, Special Olympics of Kentucky or the Senior Wellness Center of Schnitzelburg.
