Iva Geneva Evinger, 73, of Mount Washington, died on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Hicks Hodge; grandchild, Samantha George; brothers, John, Gordon, William Ray, Layton, Delbert and Wilburn Hodge.
She is survived by her children, Teresa George, Troy (Janine) Bruner, Tony (Karen) Bruner, Terry Bruner and Wayne (Kim) George; stepdaughter, Victoria Schutz; sisters, Edna (Eddie) Keefe, Wilma Nolan, Patricia (Dallas) Matheison, Juanita Burdette and Daisy Butcher; 24 grandchildren; eight great-granechildren; and her former husband, Dennis Evinger.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until 8 p.m. on Monday.
