James F. "Larry" Ray, 77, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Louisville and New Haven, died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Cooper and Mary Dorothy Ray.
He is survived by two sons, William "Terri) Ray of Memphis, Ind., and James L. Ray of Louisville; three daughters, Kim (Hollis) Smith of Louisville, Sandi (Chris) Streicher of Goshen and Terri (Alex) Reymundo of Prospect; five sisters, Betty Johnson, Mary Ann (Bill) Cahoe and Dolly Ray, all of Louisville, Billie Joyce (Charlie) Alvey and June Carol (Jerry) Mahoney, both of New Haven; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 8 a.m. on Thursday at William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven.
