Mary 'Angela' Booth, 88, of Lebanon Junction, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at her home.
Angela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a lifelong member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Born May 1, 1929, in Colesburg, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Paul Jerome Brian and Mayme French Brian. She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Father Bert Brian, Francis Vincent (Bettye) Brian, Joseph Donald (Ann) Brian, Thomas (Shirley) Brian and Joseph Carrol (Rita) Brian; and four sisters, Josephine Brian (Lee) Hundley, Patricia Brian (Charles) Cooper, Betty Brian (Jack) Beeler and Jane Brian (Bill) Beeler.
Angela is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jerome Glenn Booth; four siblings, Joseph E. (Marlyn) Brian, Mary Winnifred Brian (Charles) Sweet, John Michael (Nadine) Brian and Sister Johanna Brian (SL); and seven children, Glenda Ann (Merrill) Coleman, Jerome Lee 'Jerry' (Jackie) Booth, Mary Claire (Greg) Bryan, Phillip Francis (Heather) Booth, Stephen Joseph Booth, Brian Anthony Booth and Annette Marie Kappel; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Lebanon Junction with burial to follow in St. Clare Cemetery in Colesburg. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Hospice staff for the loving care they provided and are asking that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, 105 Diecks Drive, Elizabethtown, Ky. 42701.
