Roger Lee Hurley Sr., 71, of Mount Washington, died on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.

Roger was a retired employee of General Electric with 31 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the NRA and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 454.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pauline Hurley; daughter, Brenda Lee Hurley; and grandson, Austin Kyle Hurley.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Nancy Mattingly; daughter, Glenda (David) Maupin; son, Roger Lee (Deandra) Hurley Jr.; brothers, Don and Bob Hurley; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Schmid Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Tuesday.
