Russell Eugene Jobe, 71, of Taylorsville, died on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.
The native of Louisville retired after 31 years from Ford Motor Co. and a member of the UAW Local 862, a member of Little Mount Baptist Church and a member of National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney L. and Frances Mae Cundiff Jobe.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Clara Wolfe Jobe of Taylorsville; daughter, Stephanie Frazier of Shepherdsville; sons, Ronald and Kevin Jobe, both of Shepherdsville; stepsons, Ted Watts of Louisville, Joseph Robert Watts of Lawrenceburg, James William Watts of Abilene, Texas, and Larry Wayne Morris of Louisville; 15 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Little Mount Baptist Church with Bro. David Clay officiating. Visitation was after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville was in charge of arrangements. Memorial gifts may go to Hosparus of Louisville.
