Geraldine Williams, 76, of Mount Washington, died on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burnom and Gertrude Vires; brother, Shelby Bivens; and sisters, Maybelle Moore, Betty Truax and Marilyn Jane Goodlett.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul Williams of Mount Washington; daughters, Carolyn Williams (Jim) Erwin of Bryant, Ark., Pamela Williams (Dennis) Cottner of Mount Washington, and Melinda Williams Friday of Louisville; six grandsons, Joshua Hoots, Matt (Christy) Cottner, Trey Erwin, Eric Cottner, Doug Friday, Hans Friday, and their father, Mathyew Friday; and one great-granddaughter, Addison Cottner; two brothers, Donnie (Terri) and Joe (Betty) Vires; a sister, Joan (Tommy) Carter; brothers-in-law, Irvin (Mary Elizabeth) Williams and Leon Goodlett; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday.
