Robert Edwin Karr, 80, of Shepherdsville, died on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Jewish Hospital Medical Center South.
He was a member of the River City Street Rods, an Army veteran, a retired electronics technician for General Electric and a member of the First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Sohm-Karr; children, Robert (Donna) Karr, Debbie Shaw and Steven (Darlene) Karr; brothers, Harry, Jack, Frank and Homer Karr; sister, Edna Bishop; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 24, at First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Wasihington. Visitation was from Noon until 8 p.m. on Sunday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville and after 9 a.m. on Monday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the American Diabetes Association.
