LEWISTOWN - Maralee Hagaman, 88, of Lewistown, Ill., passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Sept. 22, 1924, in Enion, Ill., to Richard and Anna (O'Donnell) Bloyd.
Maralee first married Neville Workman on Oct. 9, 1942, and later married Howard Hagaman on Oct. 30, 1964. They both preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was a good friend, Don Bybee.
Surviving are one stepson, John Hagaman of Farmersville, Ill.; one stepgranddaughter, Amber Harmon of Hillsboro, Ill.; one brother, Pat (Georgia) Bloyd of Lewistown; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members, whom she loved very much.
Also preceding her in death was two brothers, Dallas Bloyd and Vern "Tink" Bloyd.
Maralee attended Brown's Business College and Bradley University.
She worked for the state of Illinois for 44 years, lastly as administrator of the Department of Human Services.
She was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church; Spoon River Business and Professional Women of Lewistown; and Lewistown VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed her family, genealogy, and traveling to Ireland.
Services will be Saturday, July 13, at 10 a.m. at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, where visitation will be on Friday, July 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to Lewistown VFW Ladies Auxiliary or donor's choice.

So very sorry! MaraLee was a grand lady,friend and a good soul! Our Women's Club has lost one of our finest members! Will miss her so very much! I'm in Kansas City recouping from foot surgery or I'd be there.
