Carroll, Richard J. "Dick" - Bradford  
Richard J. "Dick" Carroll BRADFORD - Richard J. "Dick" Carroll, age 81, of Bradford, IL passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at his home. Dick was born April 23, 1935, in Camp Grove, IL, the son of Raymond and Ursula (Sager) Carroll. He married Wanda Lucille Unterfer June 25, 1971, at Visitation Catholic Church in Kewanee, IL. Dick and Lucy would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this week. He graduated from Wyoming High School with the Class of 1953. Dick was a lifelong Stark County resident and farmer. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Dick retired in 2001 and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dick is survived by his wife, Lucy of Bradford, IL; four children: Michael Carroll of Coal Valley, IL, Anne Carroll of Coal Valley, IL, Daniel (Ariana) Carroll of Colorado Springs, CO and William (Sara) Carroll of Villa Grove, IL; three grandchildren: Ethan, Emma and Elijah Carroll of Villa Grove, IL; one sister, Dorothy (Jim) Allen of Richardson, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Barbara Swanson and Irene Smith and one brother, Dean Carroll. A funeral mass will be held Monday, June 27, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Bradford, with Father John Cyr officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Grant- Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford. Cremation rites will be accorded after services at Grant- Johnson Funeral Homes, Inc and Crematory, Princeton. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Coe, Gene - Prineville  
Gene Coe PRINCEVILLE - Gene A. Coe 85 of Princeville passed away on June 16, 2016, in Peoria. Born to William and Lillian Tink Coe in Springfield, IL on July 21, 1930. He married Carol J. Roll on July 6, 1969, in Berrien Spring, MI. Surviving are his wife Carol, one sister Ruth (Jay) Swaringen of Peoria and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William. Gene was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps from Oct 1950 to Oct 1953 and retired from Cilco in 1990 after 36 years of service in the Underground Cable Department. Cremation has been accorded and private burial of his cremains will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield Memorials may be made to the Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department or P.A.W.S. Cynthia Hatcher PEORIA – Cynthia C. "Cindy" Hatcher, 66, of Peoria passed away at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016, at her home. She was born April 10, 1950, in Peoria, to Murl W. and Ihle (Boyer) Clark. She married James G. Hatcher on April 25, 1988, in Arkansas. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.

Clauson, Larry - Peoria  
Larry Clauson PEORIA – Larry L. Clauson, 78, of Peoria, IL, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016, at his home, with all his family around him. Born September 14, 1937, in Peoria to Walter K. and Mildred L (Van Order) Clauson, he married Mary Lyons in 1956 in Peoria. He then married Judith Hart on January 8, 1983, in Peoria, and she survives. Also surviving are his son, Larry A. (Barb) Clauson of Hanna City; grandchildren, Jennifer Clauson and Michael Clauson (Lindsey Swadinsky); sisters, Sandra (Elmer) Schaufelberger of Peoria and Carole Donath of Princeville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. His parents and brother, Walter "Junior" Clauson, are predeceased. Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked for the Hiram Walker's Distillery, Schmidt Produce and the Hillcrest Drive Inn and he was the owner of Bagley Brothers Insurance in Peoria and Best Coil, Inc. He was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Peoria. Larry was also a member of the Hiram Walker's Rod and Gun Club, Limestone American Legion Post #979, Amvets Post 64, the Farmington Moose Lodge #1571, the Elks Lodge #20 of Peoria, Kickapoo Sportsman's Club and the Hanna City Sportsman's Club. Larry loved to hunt, fish, camp, and play cards with friends. He also participated in several bowling leagues. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears and enjoyed rides with the "Bicycle Club." Larry will be remembered as a savvy business man who was always willing to help other folks in need and who loved his grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, also at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. John Bagley officiating. Burial will follow at Lancaster Cemetery in Glasford. Memorials are suggested to the Maranatha Baptist Church, OSF Hospice or the Illinois Cancer Center in Peoria.
