FARMINGTON - Georgia E. Lochbaum, 86, of Farmington, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 3:13 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist.
She was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Peoria, Ill., to Walter E. and Alma Mae (Camp) Eppy. She married Gerald A. Lochbaum on June 30, 1946, in Lincoln, Ill. He passed away April 14, 1987, in Peoria.
Georgia was an administrative assistant to the president of University National Bank. She was also an administrative assistant at the Boilermakers Local 60.
Georgia was a member of First United Methodist Church in Peoria. She was also a member and past Worthy Matron at the International Order of the Eastern Star, Central City Chapter 42.
Surviving are her children, Terry (Sharon) Lochbaum of Maricopa, Ariz., Tinkie Demmin of Peoria, Rodney Lochbaum of Peoria, Tina Lochbaum of Peoria and Tamara (David) Adams of Bartonville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Georgia enjoyed spending time in her yard with her flowers. She loved her cabin on Spring Lake and spending time with her family and loyal dog, Muffin.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens at a later date.
