James Farmer

- James Farmer, 49, of Winston Salem, N.C., formerly of Peoria, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1964, in Camden, Tenn. James graduated from college with a master of business administration from Wake Forest University, master of science in industrial technology and bachelor of science in industrial technology from Western Illinois University and completed the European Economics Program at Oxford. He enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of second lieutenant in artillery.
James is survived by his four children; his wife, Angela; and sister, Kimberly Pouilly.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday Nov. 11, 2013, at Lewisville United Methodist Church in Lewisville, N.C. The family will visit with friends from 1 to 2 p.m., before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made for Conner, Cameron, Cuyler and Campbell's education fund through Lewisville United Methodist Church.
