Judith Barrick

CUBA - Judith Ann Barrick, age 53, of 513 N. Seventh passed away at 3:55 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at her home.

She was born May 11, 1959, in Peoria, the daughter of John William and Shirley Louise (Branson) Crayton. She married Bruce Eugene Barrick on Dec. 29, 2006, in Cuba. He survives.

Also surviving are her father and stepmother, John and Nancy (Shefts) Crayton; four daughters, Denise (and Noah) Legel, Angela Cooper, Becky (and Clint) Waughtel and Kara Barrick; three sisters, Mary (and Wayne) Britsch, Becky (and Steve) Cummings and Karen (and Neal) Defrees; one brother, Mike (and Stacy) Crayton; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Judith was an elementary school teacher at the Harrison School in Peoria District 150.

She was a member of the Cuba Church of the Nazarene.

She loved children, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Cuba Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Jansen officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba, and one hour prior to services at the church.
