INDUSTRY - Lewis E. Milby, 62, of Industry, Ill., passed away at 3:13 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 26, 1951, in Rushville, Ill., to Morris W. and Frances M. (Smith) Milby. He married Debbie M. Carrier on May 12, 1973, in Springfield, Ill. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Frances Milby of Rushville, Ill.; four children, Matthew (Susan) Milby of Morton, Ill., Doug (Mary) Milby of Table Grove, Ill., Amanda (Brian) Long of Morton, Ill., and Chris (Caitlin) Milby of LaPlata, Md.; sister, Phyllis (Jack) Swearingen of Littleton, Ill.; brother, LeRoy Milby of Macomb, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Lewis was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. He was a past member and secretary of Industry Kiwanis Club and was employed at NTN Bower of Macomb for 37 years.
Lewis loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially time spent with his grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, where visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. Monsignor Richard Pricco will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Paul's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Church or Loaves and Fishes.
