PEORIA - Marjorie A. Wilson, 79, of Peoria died at 2:39 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at ManorCare in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, located at 428 W. McClure Ave. in Peoria. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Pastor Craig Smith of Northwoods Community Church will be officiating the service. Burial will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee, Ill.
Marjorie was born on March 4, 1934, in Kewanee, the daughter of William T. and Rena E. (Goodale) Potter.
Marjorie attended Woodruff High School.
She was retired from AT&T in Peoria as a payroll clerk after 45 years.
She was a member of the Peoria Area Telephone Retirees.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Chad Wilson of Peoria, Dana Wilson of Peoria, Kurt (Mary) Wilson of Bloomington and Todd (LaSonia) Wilson of Peoria; three stepchildren, Danny, Ernie and Rick Wilson, all of Peoria; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, William "Wild Bill" S. Potter of Bartonville and Larry L. (Nancy) Potter of Peoria Heights; and one sister, Nola Miller of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
