PEORIA - Alma Mae Aldrich, 78, of Peoria passed away at 5:41 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at her residence.
She was born April 9, 1933, in Peoria, a daughter of Clay W. and Lois L. Weger Jennings. She married Richard C. Aldrich on April 12, 1953, in Peoria. He survives.
Other survivors include her son, Donald (Sherrie) Aldrich of Peoria; two daughters, Diana (Dean) Wilson of Hanna City and Denise (fiance, David Schalk) Schlink of Peoria; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one half sister, Carol (Frank) Beard of Virginia Beach, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Hall.
Alma worked at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center as an LPN, primarily in the prenatal nursery and at other locations in Peoria and Tucson, Ariz.
She was a member of the First Christian Church since 1943.

Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Resurrection Mausoleum Chapel. Dr. Bruce Dobbins will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
