EAST PEORIA - Carole Ann Vogelsang, age 70, of East Peoria passed away on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Carole was born on Sept. 12, 1943, to John Patrick and Esther Lucille (Conklin) Wisniewski.

Carole is survived by her children, Doug (Audra) Perdue, Scott (Irma) Perdue and Nichole (Kris Ayres) Vogelsang, all of East Peoria; four grandchildren, Isaac Haycraft, Hunter Perdue, Jackson Perdue and Arren Perdue; four brothers and sisters, Patricia Blakesmith, John Wisniewski, Mary Ballard and Christian (Tracy) Wisniewski, all of California; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Darryl Dean.

Carole was a supervisor for Kroger and she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and she loved her grandchildren.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and there will be no services at this time.

Memorials in Carole's memory may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Illinois Cancer Center or to the .

Arrangements were handled by Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services.
