PEORIA - Cheryl LeAnn Youngren, age 52, of Eldorado, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 8:23 a.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010, at her residence in Eldorado.
Cheryl was born on Nov. 8, 1957, in Peoria, Ill., to William LeRoy and Lola Sue (Lane) Hatcher. She was raised by Robert and Lola Coltrin.
Cheryl was formerly a dental technician at the Peoria Dental Arts Laboratory. She was of the Christian faith.
Cheryl is survived by her one son, James Lane O'Brien of Eldorado; mother, Lola Sue Coltrin of Harrisburg; father, Robert Coltrin of Harrisburg; brother, David Coltrin and wife, Ami, of Peoria, Ill.; sister, Kimberley Sue Coltrin of Fort Worth, Texas; her partner and son's father, James O'Brien of Eldorado; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Leroy Hatcher; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lane; Mr. and Mrs. William Hatcher; and Mr. and Mrs Francis Coltrin.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, and memorials may be made to the James Lane O'Brien Trust Fund @ Legence Bank in Eldorado, or the Multiple Sclerosis Society (envelopes will be available at the funeral home). Burial will follow at a later date.
