I was a childhood best friend of Leslie & still miss her very much. I remember how happy I was when Dale married your mom. They seemed the perfect fit. Several years after Leslie's death I called your dad to see if he would be at our class reunion. That's when he told me he was getting married again & he seemed so excited about it that I knew he had been twice blessed with wives. I haven't heard fom him in many years but tho't of him frequently. He was such a kind, & thoughtful person.

Dear Children of Dale and Leslie,
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's death. We were such good friends when we lived in Peoria. Our families did many things together that were so much fun. We met at the First Presby. Church and really enjoyed each other's company.I was Sandy Barrett when I lived there and we had 3 boys.....Peter, Todd and Scott. We often went swimming in your grandma's pool and spent endless happy hours with all of you kids. Your parents were kind, gentle, loving people. Please know I am thinking of you and I am so sorry for your loss.

Jane,Terrence, Ross and Owen you have our deepest sympathy. I remember how excited we were at AKPSI in 86/87 when he donated and old fridge from his office to the frat and we had it converted to a keg fridge. He was a really great guy who will be dearly missed. Tim "Guido" Fox and family

Dale was such a dedicated member of United Presbyterian Church! We will miss him! Dale did a great job on the committee we were on and we were sad when he no longer attended the meetings because Dale always had a sensible point and a polite delivery and a way of getting to the truth and a good decision during committee meetings. UPC will be a poorer place without Dale!

To the Dobbins family,

Dale was my classmate from Kindergarten through Bradley. He was always very friendly and just a great person to be around. The world is a much better place because of Dale. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
