PEORIA - Harry Dean Warren, age 71, of Peoria passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, at 6:01 p.m. at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
He was born on Aug. 11, 1946, in Benton, IL, to Davis and Ethel (McNeal) Warren. He married Kathleen Janssen on July 14, 1973, in Peoria. She survives, along with two daughters, Laura (Jimi Roberts) Warren of Peoria and Mary (Will) Kuester of Peoria; three grandchildren, Ben, Penny and Judah Kuester; two brothers, Max Warren of Cobden, IL, and George (Linda) Warren of Cobden; and one sister, Elaine Garland of Wheatland, WY.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Harry was a Vietnam Marine veteran. Following his time in the Marines, he was in the Marine Corps Reserves and the Air Guard Reserves. He worked as an Inspector for Caterpillar, Inc. for 46 years, retiring in 2012. He was an active member, Deacon and Elder of the Memorial Christian Church in Peoria. He was also a member and past Grand Master of the Grandview Masonic Lodge #1112 A.F. and A.M. of Illinois in Peoria Heights.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Masonic rites will be Thursday at 10:45 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, with military honors.
Memorials may be made to the Endowment Fund at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
