ROSEVILLE - Jane A. Tygrett, 87, of Roseville, Ill., passed away Feb. 2, 2013, at 1:40 a.m. at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Ill.

She was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Indianapolis, Ind., the daughter of Herman and Mabel Adams Maners. She married Army Air Corps SSG Raymond Tygrett on Sept. 3, 1944, in the First Christian Church in Sarasota, Fla. He preceded her on Dec. 29, 2003.

Since the end of World War II, Raymond and Jane had farmed and resided in rural Berwick, where they were the parents of two sons, Terry (Lorraine) Tygrett of Clarence, Iowa, and Tom (Sue) Tygrett of Roseville, Ill.; four grandchildren, Andy (Christina) and Steve (Lanny) Tygrett of Iowa, Deb (Austin) Sparrow of Roseville, Ill., and Tim Tygrett of Berwick, Ill.; five great-grandchildren, Mattie, Allison, Charlote, Avery and Johnny; and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

She liked to cook, garden and quilt.

She was a member of the art group that met at Coldbrook Christian Church, where she painted with Grace Buchanan and others.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Roseville Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Corman Memorial Home in Roseville, Ill.

Memorials may be made to the Grace Buchanan Center.
