CHILLICOTHE - Mary Louise Beasley, 84, formerly of Chillicothe, Peoria and Lakeland, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, in Morton, Ill.
She was born June 4, 1927, in Dansville, N.Y. She was the daughter of Orville and Helen (Humphrey) Moose. She married Neil Dwayne Beasley on Aug. 17, 1949, in Auburn, N.Y. He survives.
She has two daughters, Deb Nelson and Cindy Clark, both of Peoria; and one son, David (Mavis) Beasley of Hawaii. She has three grandchildren, Kevin Nelson, Kyle Clark and Becky Satchfield and two great-granddaughters, Lexi and Caylee Satchfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one half brother and one half sister.
Mary was a homemaker and a past member of the Bells of Harmony and a member of the Rome Baptist Church.
Mary loved to travel and do scrapbooking in her spare time.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the Rome Baptist Church in Rome, Ill. The Rev Phillip Taylor, Kyle Clark (her grandson) and the Rev. Bill Carter will officiate at the services. A visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be at a later date in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
The Davison Fulton Anderson Funeral Chapel of Chillicothe is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Rome Baptist Church.
