METAMORA - Mary Lou Cline, 88, of Metamora passed away at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013, at Snyder Village in Metamora.
She was born on June 11, 1925, in Galesburg, Ill., to Fred Lee and Jewel (Judy) Sparks Dulaney Sr. on Feb. 19, 1949. She married Everett L. (Pete) Cline and they lived in Metamora, Ill. They later divorced.
Mary Lou is survived by her niece, Patti (Tom) Daft, and their children David and Kathryn of Clive, Iowa; her great-niece, Michaelle Dulaney of Rock Island, Ill., and many caring cousins. She will also be missed by her neighbors, numerous friends and her Chihuahua, Chi Chi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Fred Lee Dulaney Jr.; and her nephew, Michael Lee Dulaney.
She was a graduate of Manual Technical High School in Peoria, Ill. From February 1945 until December 1982, Mary Lou was employed at Caterpillar Tractor Company in Inventory Control.
She was an avid square dancer for 35 years, travelled extensively and was a member of Washburn United Methodist Church.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Washburn United Methodist Church in Washburn with the Rev. Lindsay Churchman officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
