GALESBURG - Mary Alice Todd, 76, of Galesburg passed away at 8:12 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on March 12, 1936, in Jacksonville, Ill., the daughter of Francis and Ruth Edmunds Todd.
Surviving are one daughter, Michelle (Welles) Wildenradt of Peoria; one grandson, Scott Pringle of Peoria; and one sister, Leona Baker of Peoria. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, working in Abingdon and last working as a clerk and sorter in the Galesburg office. She also worked at Knox College in Galesburg in the cafeteria for several years.
Cremation rites have been accorded, with a memorial service being scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Calvary Assembly of God in Galesburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to her services also at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
