GOODFIELD - Raymond H. Heinold, 91, of Goodfield died at 3:19 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Eureka.
He was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Deer Creek to Henry and Katie (Sauder) Heinold. He married Hulda Reeser on July 8, 1940, in Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Hulda Heinold of Goodfield; two sons, Duane Heinold of Goodfield and Gary (Patricia) Heinold of La Belle, Fla.; one daughter, Joan (Terry) LaConte of Groveland; five grandchildren, Dale (Betty) Heinold, David (Tracy) Heinold, Dianne (Allen) Lamborn, Timothy LaConte and Nancy (Eric Stipp) Richey; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Heinold, in February of 2002.
Raymond was a World War II veteran in the European Theater.
He was a lifelong farmer in the Goodfield area. Raymond was a former fireman for the Deer Creek rural fire department. He served on the District 140 school board for nine years and was a co-developer of the Heinold Subdivision in Goodfield.
Raymond was a member of Rock Creek Bible Church, formerly known as Congerville Mennonite Church. He served as a church trustee.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Rock Creek Bible Church in Congerville, with Pastor Phil Bauchman officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the church. Further visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Olio Cemetery in Eureka. Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
