To my beautiful son, from all who knew and loved you and were touched by your life, it is your free spirit, your courage, your passion for music, your laughter and most of all your smile that we will miss the most. In this life, there is going to be a part of us missing, but that part of us is with you always.
Rick was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marilyn (Rumler) McCullum, and his uncle, Rick Hulvey.
He is also survived by his lifelong friends, Cory Zimmerman of Taos, N.M., and Kostas Markesinis of Trivoli.
Respecting Rick's wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be at a later date.
Rick left his mark on every life he touched, whether it be through music, his words, his ability to make light of every situation or his knack for making every person he came in contact with feel special. His spirit will live with us always. Rest in peace, my "Ticker."
