BRIMFIELD - Thomas M. "Tommy" Hoerr, 21, of Brimfield died at 12:42 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born March 13, 1991, in Peoria to Mark S. and Shelli L. Humphrey Hoerr.
He is survived by his parents; his sisters, Cherie Hoerr and Lydia Hoerr; and his brother, Jacob Hoerr, all of Brimfield; his paternal grandfather, George Hoerr of Brimfield; his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Evelyn Humphrey of Milton, Iowa; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tommy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Katie Hoerr.
He was a graduate of Brimfield High School, playing football for Elmwood/Brimfield, and had just finished his junior year at Monmouth College, where he also played football for the Fighting Scots.
He was employed by Mark Hoerr Landscaping for seven years.
He attended Bethany Baptist Church in Edwards.
Tommy loved life and loved to be with his family and friends, living life to the fullest each day. He was loyal and protective of his brother and sisters and everyone he knew. He would do anything for anybody.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Bethany Baptist Church in Edwards. The Rev. Dr. Ritch Boerckel will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at Bethany Baptist Church and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday morning. Burial will be in Brimfield Township Cemetery in Brimfield.
