BARTONVILLE - Juanita M. Ash, 72, of Bartonville, Ill., died Monday evening, March 5, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Hospital in Peoria, Ill.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1940, in Peoria, Ill. She was the daughter of Thomas J. and Edna M. (Priddy) Davis. She married Donald D. Egan and later married Larry Ash on Dec. 14, 1984, in Peoria. He survives.
She is also survived by five children, Donald (Kathleen Ann) Egan II and Kelly Mae Egan, both of Peoria, Anthony P. (Coleen) Egan of East Peoria, Kenneth J. (Birdie) Egan of Bellevue and Lori L. (Jeff) Hines of Bartonville. She has three stepchildren, Rosie (Donnie) Ash-Davis of Washington, Ill., Rebecca Ash of Manteca, Calif., and Brandon Ash of Bartonville. She has 10 grandchildren, Donald Dean Egan III, Sheila Mae Egan, Jennifer Elizabeth Egan, Katie Christine Hines, Nathan Egan Hines, Nicholas Anthony Egan, Kristen Renee' Egan, Nichole Marie Vandusen, Kenneth Dean Egan and Rachel Ash. There are four great-grandchildren, J'Vion, Dylan, Bree and Conor. She has one brother surviving, Kenneth E. (Beverly) Davis of Benton, Ky.
Juanita was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
She loved antiquing and picking old articles and attending auctions. She loved her flowers and gardening in her yard.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. A visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral chapel on Saturday. Cremation rites have been accorded and the burial of the ashes will be at a later date.
