FARIVIEW - Lois A. Livingston, 95, of Fairview passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at the Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.
She was born on Jan. 30, 1919, in Swan Creek, Ill., to James and Edwina Booton Pittman. They preceded her in death. She married John Livingston on June 11, 1937, in Virginia, Ill. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1972.
Surviving are three children, Susan Livingston of Fairview, John (Jeanne) Livingston Jr. of Huntsville, Ala., and Mark Livingston of Fairview; four grandchildren, Michael (Dianne) Livingston, Kathleen Livingston, Susan L. Livingston and Angela Walker; one great-grandchild, Matthew; and two nieces, Betty Lindegard and Nancy Sparrow.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Mabel Springer and Naomi Dail; and two nieces, Eileen Willis and Jane Minor.
Lois was a member of the Roseville Christian Church and a 50-year member of the Fairview Eastern Star.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, with a funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Roseville Cemetery.
