PEORIA - Edner Webb, 91, of Peoria passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at Liberty Village.
She was born on Aug. 2, 1922, to the late Voliver Smith and Mandy (Fair) Smith. She was married to the late Elliot "Jack" Webb.
Edner had a strong faith in God and lived a blessed life. She loved to spend time with family and friends. Edner loved cooking, canning, gardening, sewing and fishing.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter, Georgia Marshall-Henry, and one sister, Louella Fisher, both of Peoria; four special grandchildren, Corey (Diane) Marshall, Heather (Floyd) Dailey, Jacqui Webb and Stephanie Webb; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends who loved and adored her.
Edner will greet her parents, husband and three brothers, Veroy, Vance and Tim Smith, in heaven.
The home-going services celebrating Edner's life will be held Monday, March 10, 2014, at New Morning Star Baptist Church, located at 413 W. John Gwynn Jr. Ave., Peoria, at 12 noon, with visitation commencing one hour prior at 11 a.m. The Rev. Cleveland Thomas will officiate. Interment will take place in Parkview Cemetery at 2001 N. University St., Peoria.
