WASHINGTON - Mary Ann Lichtenberg, 77, of Washington passed away at 4:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Proctor in Peoria.
Mary Ann was born Oct. 24, 1936, in Peoria to Elmer and Mary Danner Keyes. She married Robert Lichtenberg on Oct. 30, 1954, in East Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Carol Schaab of Washington; two grandchildren, Erich Schaab of Chicago Ridge and Stephanie Schaab of Washington; two sisters, Patricia (John) Hadley of Peoria and Judith (Ralph) Wesselmann of LaSalle; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary Ann was a 1954 graduate of East Peoria High School.
She retired in 2001 as a supervisor of SPD at Proctor Hospital.
She enjoyed stamping and creating greeting cards in her spare time. She loved hummingbirds and found great joy in watching them.
She attended Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria.
A funeral service for Mary Ann will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Jason Alligood will officiate. A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
