WASHINGTON - Amy M. Keil, 46, passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at her residence in Washington.
She was born March 21, 1967, in Peoria to Gerald R. and Linda C. Ricketts Wilder. She married Clayton Keil on Sept. 19, 1992. They later divorced.
Surviving are her father and stepmother, Gerald and Judy Wilder of Washington; mother and stepfather, Linda and Tom Filippo of Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, Scott (Sharon) Reel of Mendota and Chris (Laurie) Wilder of LaRose; one sister, Kara (Jim) Ksycki of Washington; eight nieces and five nephews; several great-nieces and -nephews; several aunts and uncles; and her companion, J.R. Ehringer.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Amy was a 1985 graduate of Washington Community High School. She attended Flamingo Beauty College in Peoria and was a hairstylist in Washington for over 20 years. She most recently worked at Hardee's and Taco Bell in Washington.
Amy enjoyed gardening and working with flowers in her spare time. She was a lover of all animals and also enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Services for Amy will be on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Rebecca Weltmann will officiate. There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the services. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Presbyterian Church.
