DEER CREEK - Yvonne L. "Bonnie" Squier, 78, of Deer Creek passed away at 9:25 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Washington Christian Village.
She was born March 5, 1936, in Peoria to Clay and Pearl (Moreland) Hill.
Surviving are one daughter, Colleen (Steven) Aeschliman of Deer Creek; one son, Patrick (Christine) Carmody of Bloomington; two grandsons, Eric Graham of Washington and A.J. Aeschliman of Deer Creek; one stepson, Monty (Julie) Squier of Georgia; two stepdaughters, Nelena (Lee) White and Kim (Larry) Brown, both of Pekin; a stepdaughter-in-law, Jaime Squier of Morton; several stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Harvey (Stella) Hill and Howard (Carol) Hill, both of Kentucky; and one sister, Eva (Greg) Robinson of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by one grandson and one stepson, Kelly Squier.
Bonnie worked as a dispatch clerk for Knox Motor Co. in Peoria for 30 years, retiring in 1990.
She attended Deer Creek United Methodist Church.
Bonnie was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, working in her flower garden and watching the butterflies.
Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton.
